Carbon Literacy Training
Carbon Literacy© is defined as understanding the causes and impacts of human-induced climate change, what needs to be done to halt it, adapt to what has already happened, and prevent it from happening again in the future.
Our Carbon Literacy training course will fill the gaps in your knowledge about the earth's climate and human-induced climate change. It will go on to inspire and empower you to take impactful action for reducing the harmful emissions of your workplace and home.
With our very own accredited Trainer of Carbon Literacy, we work closely with the CLP to ensure our course is of the highest standard.
A half-day online (MS Teams) instructor-led workshop.
Five bright, beautiful and engaging e-learning modules to be completed as a pre-requisite to the workshop.

Becoming Carbon Literacy© certified is a powerful way to take action against climate change. Through participating in the training, you will learn about new initiatives, technological breakthroughs and climate success stories. You will talk through questions about how to use the tools at your disposal for taking action, how to best communicate with others about climate, and in doing so, be motivated and empowered to start making a difference.
When run for a group of employees from the same organisation, the workshop can be adapted to ensure content is optimised to be relevant and meaningful to participants.
As part of the workshop, you will make two low-carbon pledges aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of your workplace. One will be something you can do as an individual to reduce emissions. The other will involve other people who you plan to work with collaboratively. However large or small they are, your pledges and the action you take as a result, will go on to make a real difference - according to construction company, Jacobs UK, at least 5-15% carbon savings per
person!
Traineasy's Carbon Literacy course includes focusing on effective changes that are already happening. By the end of the training you will have discovered how to motivate and inspire those around you, and will have the confidence to express your Carbon Literacy to others.
